Everyone knows my passion for AI to make the lives of recruiters more efficient. There are a number of AI tools to choose from but Visage has a unique edge. I wrote about their combination of AI and human sourcing in my post How Visage Leverages AI earlier this year. They recently released an update that enhances my previous view of the product.
Who is Visage?
Here’s the official line from the company website:
Founded in 2015, Visage simplifies candidate sourcing and outreach so recruiters can focus on what really matters – their candidates. We create a strong and diverse candidate pipeline so that employers can focus on interviewing and assessing talent rather than searching for it. We solve this through our crowdsourcing solution plus advanced AI, a combination that is able to find the best candidates for open roles in a matter of hours. Our community of over 4000 global sourcers has access to millions of passive candidates. They leave no stone unturned! At Visage, we help you find the top talent out there and send only the qualified and committed candidates ready to interview.
We built an exceptional team using our own tool! As a 100% remote company, we are able to find the best talent imaginable – hiring based on skill set, experience & cultural fit. We practice radical transparency with our colleagues and our clients, valuing honesty and meaning above all else. We work passionately towards our goals while maintaining balance within our personal & professional lives. Our employees live in all parts of the world providing a global and diverse perspective.

The Update
Here are the highlights.
● Upload and enrich profiles: automatically parse CVs and source up to 3 email addresses for
each passive candidate submitted.
● Instant Candidate Engagement: Create automated (GDPR & CCPA compliant) email
campaigns to instantly engage with candidates at scale, driving higher engagement rates.
● Workload Planning: AI-powered pipeline predictions look at past data to find similar jobs and
predict how much sourcing is required.
● Team management & collaboration: Manage candidates and open jobs across team
members seamlessly in one place.
● Integration with ATS software: Visage integrates with leading ATS software allowing
candidate tracking from source to hire.
This product update was released in July and I have to say it’s impressive. We’ve used the product on some difficult searches in both the US and in Canada recently. The platform is easy to use (compared to some of its competitors) and the results are within 24 hours.
To test things out, we used both the standard method of entering in a request which is similar to posting a job on job sites and the resume parse function. Both worked seamlessly and we had candidates within 24 hours. Now other platforms can return results quicker but what I like about Visage is the quality of the candidate. One of the roles posted was a highly technical position within the laboratories we run and the platform returned 4 candidates in 24 hours. That was impressive enough but out of the 4 candidates, 3 were prime targets for our search.
Visage impressed me early on but this latest update has peaked my interests a bit more. If you are leery about technology or just don’t know where to start, Visage might be a good first step for you.
If you are leery about technology or just don’t know where to start, Visage might be a good first step for you. I’m currently piloting it with a special project and will write a subsequent post about our results. I’d recommend you check out Visage for yourself. I’ve really been impressed with the support I’ve received from Steven so be sure to reach out to him to schedule your own demo:

About me
and Sprint Recruiting

I joined the HR industry in 2004 after working as a sales leader in the Financial Services Industry for eight years. After spending his first couple of years in HR trying to fit in, I found my voice. Now I leverage all of the things I once hated about HR to become a consultant and invaluable partner to the businesses I support. I contribute to the HRGazzette and to DataDrivenInvestor on Medium. WARNING: my writing style is raw and in your face, not what you would expect from an HR executive.
